Langrick is a wonderful light and airy bungalow with lots of living space situated within the quiet village of Nethy Bridge, the forest village, in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. Langrick is a 5 bed property with 1 king, 1 double and 3 twin rooms so there is plenty of flexibility for guests and is ideal for families. Although only a few minutes walk from the centre of the village you can step out directly into the Abernethy Forest with trails stretching from Loch Garten (The Osprey loch) right up into the Cairngorm Mountains. The Abernethy Forest is a National Nature Reserve and full of wildlife, which regularly frequents the garden. Being in the heart of the Spey Valley there are limitless attractions from climbing in the Cairngorm Mountains, walking, sailing, fishing, skiing, birdwatching and visiting the world famous Speyside distilleries. In short – something for everyone.
Unfortunately we cannot accept hen and stag parties.
The owner is happy for up to 3 very well behaved dogs to stay at the property, however a small charge will apply, please contact us if you would like your furry friend(s) to join you. Sorry, no other pets permitted.
Please note there is a refundable damage deposit of £150 required for bookings at this property, we will request payment 7 days prior to your holiday.

A great location with two living rooms and a well supplied, roomy kitchen allowing for plenty of space for the whole family/group.
There are three bathrooms in the property:
Bathroom 1 - En-suite to bedroom 1 (shower, WC,& Sink).
Bathroom 2 - is very close to bedroom 3&4 (shower over bath, sink & wc).
Bathroom 3 - is very close to bedroom 5 (shower over bath, sink & wc)
Set in the quiet village of Nethy Bridge you have your own private garden to the rear of the property and a drive way at the front.
Langrick is a bungalow so there are no internal steps.
A car is the most flexible option for travelling to Nethy Bridge as this gives easy access to the many activities in and around the area. The approximate travel time from:
Edinburgh & Glasgow - 2 hrs 30 mins,
Cairnryan - 4 hrs 30 mins,
Manchester - 6hrs.
By Air and Train:
There are regular UK and International flights to Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh. You can then drive or take an internal flight to Aviemore and then grab a taxi. If you are travelling by rail you will need to travel to Aviemore and then take a taxi.
Directions to Nethy Bridge From the South:
Take the M9 towards Perth (becomes A9).
From Edinburgh: Take the M90 north to Perth
From Perth: Take the A9 north towards Inverness.
Turn off at turning after Aviemore (sign posted Elgin A95)Look for signs to Boat-of-Garten, or Nethy Bridge. Follow signs to Nethy Bridge via Boat-of-Garten
How to Find Langrick in Nethy Bridge:
Approach Nethy Bridge from Boat of Garten –Turn right immediately before the bridge (Spar shop is on the right hand corner), go approximately ¼ of a mile up dell Road. Langrick is on the right hand on a corner to a small lane . The house is predominantly white with black timber finishing. If you get to a Y junction or no speed limit signs you have gone about 100m too far.
There is parking at the property for several cars, the only thing we ask is if you are unable to use the driveway you don't block any other residents in.
Langrick is in the small village of Nethy Bridge where you will find a Spar village store and hotel. The village is within easy distance of Aviemore and is in the heart of the Cairngorm national park.
The Cairngorm National Park is a wonderful, scenic area where you can enjoy outdoor life to the full. In the winter you have a couple of ski area available and there are plenty of mountains to tackle all year around. For the younger members of the family there is the Highland Wildlife Park and the Loch Garten Nature Reserve, or they can try their hand at Go Ape.
